Edit cursor doesn't snap to grid on middle mouse click

3.alpha3 The edit cursor doesn't snap to the grid on middle mouse click!? If you drag it with the middle mouse it snaps fine!? So why doesn't it snap to the grid on middle mouse click?

It never did for me. Should the scrubber ever snap to a grid at all ?

Dstruct needs this. Is this a common need ? What could it break ? I look at it from my editing perspective and thus that it would break my scrub needs should snap be on. Do I ever need the snap to be active when I'm scrubbing ? Probably not, so if this is part of the snap settings, I won't mind and can disable it if I need to. I know some folks will disable it. If there's a setting for this, the snap settings is where it should live. Anyone disagree ?
