Hi, I have a problem: There are two mics in a different distance to the violin I want to record. So the sound reaches one mic a little bit earlier than the other. That's why I want to add a little time delay to the track of the first mic to compensate the difference. How can I realize this with Reaper? Best regards geiger
Depends how much of a delay you want. If it's on the level of a few samples, I'm not sure what you'd want to use. If it's a millisecond or two, or five, then I always use GDelay. Wet at 0db, Dry at -infinity, no feedback, 1ms delay, done.
Hi, Lokasenna, many thanks for your hints. I downloaded Gdelay and set delay to 24 ms (that's good for 8 m distance), feedback and dry to -inf, effect to 0 db. I think that's what you proposed. Regards Geiger
