Football SFX

I need to find some downloadable SFX of Football (American-NFL). I have found a lot on sounddogs.com but I need more. Specifically quarterback call, yell hike. Any ideas? Thanks Rob

It's that post-audio time of year again, isn't it? I just got a lesson in this myself, from an ex-NFL player in a walla group. Apparently, real football players don't say 'hike.' The QB calls the play in the huddle, and says it'll be, say, 'on four.' Then everyone yells 'Break!' in unison (while holding hands, but you won't need sfx for that). Then, at the line of scrimmage, the QB hollers something like 'Down... set... hut! hut! hut! hut!' On the fourth 'hut,' chaos ensues. Any real football players (which I'm so not) out there feel free to chime in.

One other thing -- if you take the DIY outdoors approach, a big plastic salad bowl up next to your head nicely simulates that 'in a helmet' nano-ambience.

OHH and I thought the sound of football was leather couch, chips in a bowl, slurps, farts, belches, things hitting the TV....

and if you do want to go holler into a mic yourself, surely someone has an IR of a football helmet by now
