Correct. That setting in the project settings, was in fact turned on and set to 10 minutes. HOwever, the track of course wasn't armed, and even if it was, playback should work. I switched the recording limit off and playback worked beyond 10 minutes. I switched the limit back on, and it didn't. I changed it to 10 minutes and 2 seconds, and playback stopped at 10 minutes and 2 seconds. Bug. Can folks confirm this ?
+ MIDI: record overdub/replace modes with record PDC disabled now compensated for track PDC Not sure if this is supposed to cover touch-replace mode as well but it looks to me like that mode isnt getting its latency compensated(with the 'preserve PDC' setting disabled). Also, may be user error but i cant get it to do any replacing either, just seems to overdub here.???
The TCP ReaControlMIDI volume fader behavior seems to have changed. Previously it had a "spring" action...with a click/drag the volume changed, and upon release the fader returned. Now there's no "spring" action, and the movement is jumpy, irregular and unpredictable. Anyone else notice this?
I don't remember it doing this before so I'm posting it here. If i have the track playing and I have have the loop seek active in playback options if I change the beginning of my loop point whilst playing my play cursor jumps to the end of the loop not the beginning... weird? If I adjust the end or shift the whole loop via dragging it then it jumps to the start of the loop like expected. anyone else get this?
Trim faders (on automation tracks) are not returning to the middle point on release any more, they only return to the middle when I click anywhere around that automations track panel if I grab the channel again whilst it is stuck in this position it jumps to the position on the actual arrange line where it would have been if it had reset to the centre before I moved it a second time.
Change the color of the item edge controls in a theme and save. Now go to another theme and return, now your 'Media item quiet zone fill color' returns to the default blue. The checkbox for 'Force button background/border' has now been checked/X on the default. Also, a question too...why did the color blend that the Theme Team submitted get used for the item edge controls (snap offset/fade edge) and now it is back to 1.0/Normal? Is this blend mode preferred by Justin or something, because the main reason we made the change was to allow the media round edge to show through on the left-bottom side? I do understand you, as developers/owners, get the final say, but that was our intent. If you do prefer the solid color, maybe the snap offset triangle could become transparent when not used (on the left side). For example, you do not see any indication that a fade could exist on the left/right side when they're not in use, why is it necessary to see the snap offset (it too has it's own cursor/tool)?
