I tried turning on the burner first, but no luck. and Carl Z, the extensions that I know of are: - Toast CD Reader, - Toast FireWire Support - Toast USB Support I tried different cominations, turning on and off extensions, but nothing seems to work... I really appreciate you guys' input...

I have an extension that sits in my toast folder which lets me use my plextor writer. Check the toast support site to see if they have it... When i got it this was back in the adaptec days...

Do a search here. WebAdmin {Bruce} posted exactly which Firewire extensions you should be using. Then...copy your 9.1 Firewire extensions over to the other machine. There are four or five. Sorry, I'm on an 8.6 machine at the moment.
