Encoding Mpg2 in 1024*768

What major problems do i expose myself to into doing such mpg2? ie : the file is to be screened in VGA mode. I assume that it need to be progressive but it's as far as i can get out of myself. I think thatencoding might be possible (with reasonable quality) but the playback worries me a bit... Any infos are welcome. A+ BeN

uhh, what do you intend to do with a mpeg2 at 1024x768 (if you find an encoder that will encode over 720x576)?? Enf...

It's for what i call "screening" wich means that we'll use a Barco to have the image on a cinema screen. I have some english probe here... Well, anyway you seem to say that no encoder will do that but my DPS'Velocity will.
