Exclusive Arm Recording...

I can't be the first person to ask this... but is there a way to exclusive arm record buttons for the tracks? I just can't remember to hold a keyboard modifier. It just seems like a mistake waiting to happen to not have (at least an option for) exclusive arm recording, with a modifier for when you want to select multiple tracks. Please help me!

Try this out, works for me so far. Install SWS extensions if you haven't yet. Import it into the cycle action editor. If you don't know the cycle action editor, you can find it in the actions list. Then it will appear in your actions list.

Not sure if this is any help but I use auto-record-arm for every track which essentially makes clicking on a track exclusive-arm it

I'm a little confused... How will this allow me to click the record button to arm a track exclusively? I can see that if I set up a short cut and then select a track and press that button it arms the track exclusively, and while that's a nice option to have, it would mean giving up the routine of using my mouse to click the arm button on each track. Unless I'm missing something?

you can right click the rec arm button on all track and turn on the option "auto arm when selected" so when a track is selected it arm, if not, it's unarm
