authoring program that supports Dolby 5.1 ( ac3)

i usually use dvdit pe to uthor my dvdr , but i d like to have a very good sound in Dolby 5.1 without having to rencode it in 2 channels 256kbps in dvditpe , what program do u use and what is the method ( i m not totally stupid so u can explain quickly )

The best choices are Scenarist and Maestro. i personally use scenarist. If you wish to learn then there are detailed guides available by doom9 as always.

I just use Spruce Up. It handles dolby 5.1. I want to do DTS, though. Where do you get scenarist? Is it really thousands of dollars?

Maestro 2.9 will import DTS
