Hi. I just installed BFD 1.0 on my Mac but REAPER won't show it as a plugin, even though the VST and AU files are in the right place. The BFD install didn't give me any errors, so I'm presuming this is an issue with REAPER. Does anyone know what's going on? Regards, Jon
Hello jdk303 and welcome to these forums. You'll find many helpful people here and a lot of useful information. Have you added the BFD path to the VST path list and done the necessary Rescans, in the Preferences / plugins windows? Also, it may be that BFD shows up under another name in Reaper (it depends on what info the FX supplies to Reaper). On Windows XP, there is a file named reaper-vstplugins.ini which lists the FX dll names and the info provided to Reaper. Have a look for the Mac equivalent of this file, BFD should be listed at the end of the file. Once you find it, right-click it in the FX browser and Rename it.
Thanks for the suggestions. I have rescanned (and cleared the cache) but unfortunately there is no BFD plugin. All I have are the default plugins that come with REAPER and my Komplete 5 plugins, and nothing that looks like BFD in disguise. I guess this has something to do with the fact that my BFD is old and dated, but after spending all my money on Komplete 5, I can't really afford to upgrade. ;) I can't find anything about this with Google, so if there are any other ideas...? Jon

Just found out that the Fish Fillet plugins don't work on Intel Macs. What a shame. This may be the case with BFD as well. I'll try and find out, so I won't waste any more of everyone's time. ;)
