Javascript Help

OT but I need some help with Javascript. I'm doing some iPhone development with NimbleKit (easier than continuing to learn Obj-C). Anyone good with Javascript who wants to collab with me please post.

ahh javascript - the land of browser-compatibility-doom. since that safari is the default iphone browser, this would make applications much easier to deploy. not sure that i have the time for a full collaboration, however i would be happy to help out if you have a specific javascript question, lawrence.

What I'm looking at doing is transferring/loading data from the iPhone devices via Javascript back and forth via my web server. I've been digging into some functions but it's going to take me a while to figure out.

you can do it asynchronously with AJAX, which _should_ work on the iphone?: async server-to-client example: in the above, data is received from the server in a simple xml structure proceeding a request. the data is refreshed every 20seconds without reloading the page (which is the main point here). since you will be writing for safari exclusively you can ignore the browser/compatibility checks..for example this line in the case of IE is not needed: Code:
