tabbing in edit window, not waves

I've searched everywhere for this answer, but haven't had any luck. When I press the tab key and a waves plugin is open, the cursor selects the various parameters in waves. How do I keep the tab function in the edit window? I want the tab key to always go to the next region start or end, I don't want it to affect the waves plugin. Anybody know how to do this? -fb

Unfortunately, this is a "Quirk" of Waves plugs. The only way to get out of it is to make sure you press RETURN when finished tweaking the Waves plug. Pressing ENTER only selects the parameter you just tweaked. RETURN deselects the parameter and the plug. Not a great solution....but the only one I'm aware of. Cheers

Try the escape key. I'm not sure if it will work with tab, but it does seem to "give back" keyboard control to the non-Waves stuff. -kid pro

Its even funier. When i shift click to open a waves plug, thus opening 'another' pi window, and this window is on my second monitor i suddenly CAN use the TAB function! Isn't that strange? And, i use a Wacom pen/tablet. Works great for everything. Everything BUT.... yes: waves! But only if waves is on my second monitor... WAVES: LEAVE THE TAB KEY TO PT PLEASE!
