Hay Doods (& Doodets) :) not having much luck making a macro to do this & its quite a simple common task IMO, rendering clips with FX to new tracks can simply be done from the Render window if you have loops set & tracks selected but you should be able to select media items in arraignment view & run the action, then Bam!! is there a way to do this already with Macro? is it in the tracker? should i put it in the tracker? how much free beer to i have to offer the Devs? (for my old host we had to sacrifice chickens :o ) :D Subz
Depends how many clips / tracks you want to render at once. For single track / clip it's fairly easy to do. This is one of the macros I have for rendering part of the VSTi score to a new track as an audio file for example:: e
Thanks :) reading that list is interesting!! going to try make my own action now! wish me luck if i get what i want i will post it in this thread :) Subz
OK, i think i'm getting there as you can see it renders with FX then explodes the takes in place then moves them all down one track, so i still have to manually move the old files back up dose any one know the magic selection command i need to only select the new applied FX renders before running the command to move them down one track? exploding the lanes to in place wipes any stored selections i have as they are new takes any ideas? here is the Macro so far any extra help welcome :D Subz
copy the item with 2 takes (render + midi), than remove the second take on the selected item, create a new track, paste the two takes from clipboard and remove the first take from new one.
