Building layered loop recordings on the fly?!

loopyllama works ok - mobius is another i know of - more tweakable but slower learning curve, and a huge gui. guitar rig has a decent looper i recall. not many about tho it seems - seems theres an opening for a v. neat user friendly looper...

At a basic level(ie. fixed loop length) you could use readelay, just set the musical length to how ever many bars you want. eg. set it at 32 for 4 bars. theres some js/loop plugs but i havent tried them. the loopy llama is pretty good though. you tried ELOTTRONIX XL? or this? Might get some good info here...
