A little Curious...

I find it a little curious that people buy a digidesign package and spend all their valuable recording time on trying to force third party software to work with the system. A little more curious.... What 'third-party' software are you refering to? I personally feel that the MIDI/Audio of ProTools suits me perfectly but it still can't create (electronic-based) music on its own - nor burn it onto CD. I bought the Digi 001 for the 24B interface. Period. PTLE is ok, but Logic Platinum is miles beyond it. Some do hardware best, some do software best. PTLE is in its first incarnation, and will have to grow up a lot to compete with mainstream sequencer software packages. In this case, using a "third party" software package makes perfect sense.

Thomcat are you getting Logic Platinum to work with 001?
