when i try to mux a srt file ripped with subrip 1.03, it craps out and says 'can't render input file sassy.srt' when you look at the srt file with notepad/wordpad though its fine, everything looks right. any ideas why it won't go?

works fine for me, but, then, I'm a freek :O make sure the 'extended format' is unchecked, tobias' filter apparently cant handle it, although I wouldnt think that would affect oggmux.
wmp6.4 works best with all those features in my experience. This will of course change with the release of TheCoreMediaPlayer (former PowerDivX). Just look into your "language" menu when right-clicking into the media player's window - and you might want to tweak the filters as well (the properties menu when right-clicking into the media player's window). I hope this helps, best regards, Koepi P.S.: in the oggmux releasenotes you can clearly find something about that... :P I didn't include the file to blow up the package size... ;)
well, subs don't seem to show for me in wmp6.4, thats why. language only lists: + show subtitle + subtitle 65535 - hide subtitles the first two are selected by default, and should be showing subs. don't see any though. :P
wut did I do? :O it was just a guess what does ploink mean? [edit] plonk excl.,vt. Usenet: possibly influenced by British slang `plonk' for cheap booze, or `plonker' for someone behaving stupidly (latter is lit. equivalent to Yiddish `schmuck')] The sound a newbie makes as he falls to the bottom of a kill file. While it originated in the newsgroup talk.bizarre, this term (usually written "*plonk*") is now (1994) widespread on Usenet as a form of public ridicule. dont hate me koepi, I looove you... kinda. hey wait... I'm not a newbie >o< [/edit]
