I'm obviously not adam, but you can download his custom actions here... it has what your looking for in there...

Use "SWS: Copy items/tracks/env, obeying time sel" from SWS extensions. That would also copy any empty space before items. NOTE: There's a bug right now where this doesn't work for items using a timebase of Beats (like MIDI items).

wow u live right near me adam lol i need to learn how to copy and past tracks without it pasting 30 new tracks AND pasting at the end of the next track like how reason/cubase is etc
