Noise at the end of a bounce

Do any of you get a massive bit of digital distortion or other material at the end of a bounce. It tends to be about 1/2 a second long but does vary

I had a problem like that and the Answerbase under the Support link on this website suggested what is below to deal with it: ------------------------------------------------ Q: When I Bounce To Disk, I get a burst of white noise at the end of the resultant file. Suggestion: This can occur if the DAE Playback Buffer is set to 8. Try changing the Buffer to 2 or 4, then restart Pro Tools. ------------------------------------------------ It worked for me...good luck

wicked. I'll give it as go when i get home tonite. I know i do have the setting at 8 (for some reason) I think i was having problems on a p3 733 w/256 ram or something

Bruce I found that I had to have the HW Buffer on 1024 samples for bouncing or I got that noise.
