Best way to tame peaks?

I often do all my compression with item or pre fx automation since you also get visual feedback,takes a while buy for critical things I find the results fantastic! :)

A combination of pre-fx volume and parallel compression. . smooth.

Chaining the 1176LN and LA2A compressors for maximum control................ Some software emulations make it easy to spot the one they are trying to model .... some don't!!! ..........maybe we could make a little list here folks ... THe rocket is emulating ( clue ; the "ALL" in th ratio settings....... I know , that ones a bit too easy !!) Cheers
