ProTools not loading?

I try clicking the LE 5 and ProTools loads half way and then says "ProTools Hardware is either not installed or being used by another program" The finder is the only thing up when I try to open ProTools. I have reseated the PCI card reinstalled all software. I have made sure that my extension manager enables all digi and PT aplications and documents. I have also zpped my pram and trashed all preferences for the date of the failure. ProTools worked last week and I shut it down for the weekend and now it doesn't work? thank You for your help!! blueslunk, If you have a CD or DVD n the computer it will think this is using the Digi unit. Paul

Hey Blueslunk, you may have tried this already, but open your strip on the bottom and go to the sound panel. If Digidesign is highlighted, unhighlight it and see if Pro Tools will start. I do this when I'm listening to C.D.'s and sometimes forget to switch it back . Hope that's all the problem is.
